Licensing
PSR® is currently licensing its imprinting training systems across those industries in which changing the work environment is not practical or possible.
By licensing the PSR® imprinting training systems, clients are able to install permanent and continued safety training in house. In contrast, other vendor programs are offered either one time or at infrequent intervals, creating gaps in injury exposure for newly hired personnel. Furthermore, licensing allows a client company to bring the technologies within the corporate culture and allow the company to build on its own experience.
PSR uses a licensing model that is structured using two revenue flows: a master company license fee and secondly, a certification fee for the facilitators. The facilitators are employees of the licensee company who will teach the PSR®'s imprinting technologies to other employees in the company. These facilitators will be be recertified every 18 months.
The licensing and certification structure is composed around a tiered matrix. There are six licensing tiers as determined by the number of employees. Licenses are valid for 3 years and can be renewed thereafter. The renewal license fee ranges between 60 and 75 percent of the original license fee based upon the Tier.
Certification fees are also calculated along these tiers and are equivalent to approximately 50 – 80% of the amount of the licensing fee. Renewals are approximately 30% of the renewal license fees.
A license can be issued to a parent company to allow its subsidiaries and individual regional facilities to be certified with in-house facilitator-trainers.
